? How to Login to Your Archer BE800

The web management page gives you full control over every setting. Important: flagship TP-Link routers no longer ship with a default "admin" password — you created a custom admin password during first-time setup.

Connect to the Router

Join the BE800's Wi-Fi or plug in an Ethernet cable. For setup tasks, a wired connection to one of the 2.5G LAN ports is recommended.

Open Your Browser

In the address bar (not the search bar), type tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1 and press Enter.

Enter Your Admin Password

Type the custom password you created when setting up the router. You'll land on the dashboard with Basic and Advanced tabs.

?? Forgot Your Admin Password?

With the router powered on, press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash. The router restores factory settings, and you'll re-run the quick setup to create a new admin password. Note: this erases all custom settings.

? Change Your Admin & Wi-Fi Passwords

A. Change the Admin (Login) Password

Log in, then go to Advanced ? System ? Administration (on some firmware: System Tools ? Administration).

Enter your old password, then a new strong password (12+ characters, mixing letters, numbers, symbols). Click Save.

B. Change the Wi-Fi Password

Go to Basic ? Wireless (or Advanced ? Network ? Wi-Fi). You'll see your 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz networks.

Update the Wireless Password field for the band(s) you want to change, then click Save.

? Heads-Up Before You Change Wi-Fi Passwords

Every device will be disconnected instantly. You'll need to "Forget" the network on phones, laptops, TVs, and smart-home gadgets, then reconnect with the new password. Consider updating one band at a time to make this easier.

Strong Password Checklist:

  • Minimum 12–16 characters
  • Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols
  • No names, birthdays, or address info
  • Different password for admin login vs. Wi-Fi

Viewing the Client List:

Log in and open Basic ? Network Map, then click the Clients icon.

Review each device's details:

  • Device name & type (phone, TV, PC, IoT)
  • Connection: 2.4G / 5G / 6G / Wired
  • IP & MAC address
  • Real-time upload/download speed

Blocking an Unknown Device:

In the client list, tap the Block (or edit) icon next to the suspicious device. It's kicked off instantly and blacklisted.

For maximum security, enable Advanced ? Security ? Access Control and switch to Whitelist mode so only approved devices can ever join.

A: The 6 GHz band only appears on Wi-Fi 7 / Wi-Fi 6E capable devices, and its availability depends on your country's regulations. Older devices will only see 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz — completely normal.

Q: I'm not getting 10G speeds on my wired PC.

A: Your PC needs a 10G network card, and you must use at least a Cat6a Ethernet cable under 30 m. Also confirm you're plugged into a 10G port, not a 2.5G port.
